Corso UN & Prima:
Corso UN, a window fabric that is soft and flowing, elegant and extremely useable! This semi transparent window quality employs two different yarn colors to achieve a beautiful multi color effect in the weft. Remember that the subtle stripes are woven horizontal and when the goods are railroaded the stripe becomes a vertical. Corso UN teams well with many fabrics and colors in the Creation Bauman for Carnegie line.
The translation of Prima from Italian to English is simply “first”. In modern everyday language Prima often means “the best” and this is how we feel about this fabric! In your larger sales presentation samples you will see the depth and character of this textural plain. The yarns are coarse and rugged yet they are also soft and drapeable, these paradoxes make the fabric so unique. At first glance the fabric appears very opaque but when hung at a light source there is a semi transparent strie effect that defies the solid character of the cloth.
